Gordon Kolb Jr.

Gordon Kolb Jr. (“Gordo”) is a Partner with GHK Cape Fear Developments. He is responsible for identifying and managing development projects for the firm. As an industry veteran, Gordo has led commercial development projects throughout the Southeastern United States, including multiple retail stores for Walgreens and Publix, as well as medical office buildings for UNC Health and Vidant Health.

As President of G.H.K. Developments, Gordo manages strategic planning and day-to-day operations of a family-owned commercial real estate development company. To date, the New Orleans-based firm has built over 3 million square feet of commercial leasable area with project costs totaling more than $400 million. Since joining the company in 2002, Gordo has helped turn G.H.K. Developments into a preferred developer for several national retailers.

A native of New Orleans, Louisiana, Gordo holds a Bachelor of Arts in Communications from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. He places emphasis on civic involvement and holds leadership roles at Trinity Episcopal Church, the Louisiana Children’s Museum, Woodberry Forest School, and Lighthouse Louisiana. His community service also includes roles within several Mardi Gras organizations and sitting on the New Orleans Tricentennial Tall Ships Committee. Gordo resides in New Orleans with his wife, Holt, and their four children.
